Every act of love toward yourself will only increase beneficence to others and every act of beneficence toward others will only increase your capacity to love yourself. Both are vital. Both are enlivening. Both increase the well-being of every circle to which you belong. So why not start today where you usually do not … love yourself first if that is not your custom. Show kindness to another if that is not your habit. Shake it up a bit and see how either way you bring good to this world. There is no losing here. There is only love.
