Course Policy

WBI is an educational organization; as with college or university courses, our courses have start and end dates, and after a course is complete, access to it is closed. However, we recognize that online courses and programs offer students unique learning opportunities and we want our students to take full advantage of them. The online course content (such as videos or conference call recordings) are available for viewing during the course time frame, plus an additional 5 weeks after the course is complete, giving students extra time to digest the material. The online content is not available indefinitely.

Payment Policy

Full payment is due at time of registration and can be made with Visa, MasterCard, American Express, Discover, and PayPal. If payment plans are available for individual programs, those plans will be stated on the respective website pages.

Personal checks and money orders (in US dollars) are acceptable, however, full payment must be received prior to processing your registration. There is a $20 charge for checks returned for insufficient funds. To pay by check, please mail payment along with contact and course information to Wholebeing Institute, PO Box 272, Hardwick, MA 01037. For information about wire transfers, please contact us at [email protected]. Our established business physical location is 572 Jackson Road, Hardwick, MA 01037.

Grievance Policy

We hope your experience with WBI, in any capacity, is a good one. If you feel unfairly treated, you have the option of a formal procedure for dispute resolution.  We may modify this procedure, and nothing here constitutes a contract.

All grievances must be in writing and submitted to WBI via email to [email protected] with the subject line grievance.

In that email, state clearly and concisely all the known facts related to your grievance, including “who, what, where, when and the why.” Clearly explain why you disagree with act or omission that forms the basis for the grievance. Also explain what remedy you are requesting. Sign and date the email.

Grievances must be submitted within 30 calendar days following the date you first knew or should have known of the grievance. If you do not submit the grievance within the 30-day period, you waive your right to assert it.

WBI will respond in writing within ten (10) days following receipt of your grievance via email.

Within ten (10) days following your receipt of the written answer, you may appeal the disposition of your grievance by your supervisor to the founder, Megan McDonough, at [email protected], who will then undertake an investigation of your grievance and the underlying facts. Within 15 business days following receipt of your grievance, she will meet with you virtually to discuss your grievance. Megan will then provide a written response to your grievance within 15 business days following the date of your meeting.
