Scholarships typically cover 20–50% of tuition. All associated costs, including any accommodations, travel, books, etc., are the responsibility of the recipient.
Applications are currently being accepted for the next session. Recipients are notified on a rolling basis.
- Financial need based on low-income criteria as defined by the Department of Health and Human Services or other financial hardships
- Commitment to attending the course, which includes two immersions, one online and one on-site. Both immersions are mandatory.
- Willingness and ability to serve the work forward and give back to underserved communities after graduation—for example, donating 100 hours as a volunteer yoga teacher, volunteering at a local public school or other community organization in need over a specified time period.
- Demonstrated past or current involvement with underserved communities and/or a genuine desire to volunteer time and expertise to support people in need.
